Phoenix goes into a panic when we wrap his face in plastic, but he soon forces his head free, then his arms, then a good part of his body. He's almost free, then we tie his wrists with a flexible cord, making it much harder to push the plastic away. Hours later he's almost free again — just his neck is bound! — but our cruelty knows no end. When he is just seconds from freedom, we cuff his wrists with steel chain.
